It seems like I'm going to have to deal with this conflict forever so I was wondering if you'd be open to migrating your build settings to xcconfigs, which would let me not have to deal with this anymore.

Yeah, definitely. The only reason I haven't done so already is that no one else has ever wanted to contribute.

I don't think there's a great way of dealing with this. The only option for modifying the entitlements seems to be completely replacing the file, which I'd rather not do because of the possibility of them getting out of sync.
