Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Actual
Expected
For me when I click a top level tab I would expect it to jettison all navigation of previous usage and start from scratch. This might be an option if I am alone in this thought :)
Workaround
Request: clicking tabs should force that page to displayto Request: clicking tabs should forget previous navigation on that tabPreserving the navigation state when first switching back to a tab is the intended/expected behavior (see, e.g., News.app). The bug here is that clicking the currently-selected tab should pop all the way back to the root page for that tab (as it does on iOS/iPadOS).
