Misc py23 cleanups (#2243) 
* Replaced all from ...py23 import * with explicit name imports, or removed completely when possible.
* Replaced tounicode() with tostr()
* Changed all BytesIO ans StringIO imports to from io import ..., replaced all UnicodeIO with StringIO.
* Replaced all unichr() with chr()
* Misc minor tweaks and fixes

e3f3f4f976 [_m_a_x_p] rename 'allXMaxIsLsb' variable to 'allXMinIsLsb' for clarity's sake 
The previous 'allXMaxIsLsb' name was misleading.
The 'allXMinIsLsb' boolean variable cooresponds to the head table's Bit 1.
This is set whenever all glyphs have the bbox.xMin equal to the respective
left sidebearing (and therefore "left sidebearing point at x=0").

8413c108d2 Move sstruct under fontTools.misc 
Our footprint in the Python module namespace is all under
fontTools now.  User code importing sstruct should be updated
to say "from fontTools.misc import sstruct".

3e097c6095 don't recalc a number of things then TTFont().recalcBBoxes is off. This allows us to compact glyphs right after they've been parsed from XML, which should greatly reduce memory usage, and therefore should speedup compiling large fonts.

7842e56b97 Created a new library directory called "FreeLib". All OpenSource RFMKII components will reside there, fontTools being the flagship.
